5 Steps for Estate Planning

Data Gathering

In the initial appointment, we collect essential information such as family details, professional advisor contacts, provisions for children, power of attorneys, gift plans, and financial specifics.

Presentation

Each donor receives a personalized plan, reviewed for accuracy. Options for charitable giving are explored, offering new opportunities for donors to contribute in meaningful ways. Donors decide on any charitable gifts within their will or estate plan, and are encouraged to consult with an attorney for document completion.

Decisions

Estate plans often feature unconventional charitable vehicles. Families typically take a few days to two weeks to decide on incorporating these options into their plans.

Attorney Appointment One

The family meets with their attorney to outline their estate planning goals. The attorney drafts necessary documents and sends them to the family for review and potential revision.

Attorney Appointment Two

The family returns to finalize and sign the documents, completing the estate planning process.
